Fortnite Battle Royale players have been left hoping a surprise launch for Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 3 is around the corner.
Before Fortnite season 5 the previous two Battle Passes each had a Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack launched during it.
The first Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack, which boasted the havoc and sub commander skins, was launched during Fortnite season 3.
While the trailblazer skin, which was included in Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 2, was launched during Fortnite season 4.
We’re now in the closing stages of Fortnite season 5 so time is running out for the Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 3 to be launched during it.
But Fortnite fans have been left wondering Epic Games may have dropped a subtle hint that the Twitch Prime Pack 3 launch is near.
This week Epic Games have been teasing the launch of the new suppressed assault rifle for Fortnite.
It is being teased when players login and looks to be coming with Fortnite content update V5.40.
But Fortnite fans have noticed something interesting about the teaser image showing the soon-to-be-released weapon.
The Fortnite suppressed assault rifle looks to have a camo skin on the weapon, which ties into claims dataminers made after the launch of Fortnite update 5.40.
In the aftermath of that patch launch last week leakers claimed to have found evidence that Fortnite will be introducing weapon skins to Battle Royale.
And Fortnite fans have been left wondering whether the camo skin shown on the Fortnite suppressed assault rifle is linked to the Twitch Prime Pack 3.
All the Fortnite Twitch Prime Packs so far have had a distinct military theme to it so this would be in keeping with past releases.
The Fortnite Battle Royale Leaks Twitter account today posted an image of the suppressed assault rifle weapon.
And responding to it one tweeter said: “This might be crazy but u know how there is weapon skins in the files, what if this is twitch prime skin or something”.
While another posted: “Looks like nocturno but with a twitch prime camo on it”.
If Epic Games are planning on releasing a Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 3 during Fortnite season 5 then time is running out.
Currently Battle Royale players are in week nine of the season 5 Battle Pass with the final week – week 10 – kicking off in Fortnite on Thursday.
Fortnite season 6 is expected to start next week or the week after.
