According to Afghan Times, sources within the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan confirm that Afghan Taliban soldiers were approaching the Pakistani border; they attempted to infiltrate but were intercepted and killed by the Pakistan military. Some of them were captured alive. Among those neutralized and captured were top Taliban commanders and TTA elements.
