Dubai, December 21, 2025: Pakistan?s Under-19 team delivered a dominant performance in the ACC Men?s U19 Asia Cup final at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, defeating arch-rivals India by 191 runs.
Sent in to bat after losing the toss, Pakistan posted a commanding total of 300 for 8 in 50 overs, anchored by a record-breaking century from Minhas. Ahmed Hussain contributed 56, while Deepesh Devendran claimed 3 wickets for 83 from his 10 overs.
In reply, India?s chase never gained momentum, collapsing from 68 for 5 to 109 all out in 28.5 overs. Ali Raza led the Pakistani bowling with 4 for 42, supported by Abdul Subhan and Mohammad Sayyam.
The victory marks Pakistan?s first outright U19 Asia Cup title since 2012, ending a run of shared or runner-up finishes. The team was guided by mentor Sarfaraz Ahmed. Minhas earned Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament honors for his consistency throughout the competition.
The celebrations were widespread among players and supporters as Pakistan capped a thoroughly dominant campaign.
