In a meeting held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, met with HRH Prince Khalid Bin Salman (), the Defense Minister of the Kingdom. They discussed the gravity of the security situation arising from Iranian drone and missile attacks on the Kingdom and the need for joint measures within the framework of the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement. It was emphasized that unprovoked aggression undermines efforts for regional security and stability, foreclosing options for peaceful settlement of disputes. Both sides expressed hope that Iran would demonstrate prudence and sagacity to avoid miscalculation and to strengthen the hands of friendly countries seeking peaceful resolutions to the crisis.
